Do doctors have to start paying back their student loans during their residency?

Be cause they only make about 30K for 4 or 5 years and they probably have over 200K in loans.

If they do, does the same thing apply to PLUS loans?

Doctors, just like all other students, start paying on their loans once they are out of school. There is a time frame, I believe it’s one year, before they actually have to start repaying. It doesn’t matter what career you go into.
