I am looking into going to graduate school next year and I have recently submitted my paperwork to consolidate my undergraduate student loans with the government. My question is what happens with this new consolidated loan when I go to graduate school? I had both subsidized and unsubsidized loans that were consolidated into one new loan. Can I defer this new loan while in graduate school and will the entire loan accrue unpaid interest while in school or only the portion that was unsubsidized to begin with? Thanks.

I am looking into consolidating my student loans. I have 2 separate cosigners on the loans. If I consolidate, does that release them of their responsibility to the loan? Or are they still attached as cosigners?

I have a few loans that I am having trouble keeping up payments because of my low income as being a part time employee at Lowe’s. My hours change due to budget, therefore my income changes. I really want to pay all four of these loans but I have a one year old daughter to take care of and they are threatening legal action.

I am finishing up my bachelors degree and will then pursue my MBA. But I am figuring I will have 30,000 in student loans total after I finish up my bachelors. What Id like to know is what company is the best to consolidate through and how much money can I save? Also, If I have the money I can pay the loans off even before the 20 years correct? I mean I could pay them off asap right? Thanks
