I have federal student loans and one private student loan. I am looking for the most cost effective route to consolidate them. Is it even possible to consolidate federal with private? I can also ask these question to the companies which disbursed my funds, but I am looking for an unbiased and educated opinion.

Does anyone know of a student loan that does? Other then Sally Mae, they only do tuition type loans for my school now.
